It’s hard to put into words how much we value the work Frank did for us. He is a perfectionist and a problem solver who won’t let things be done halfway. Everything he did he did with utmost care and attention to detail, and he collaborated with us on the smallest of details instead of making assumptions about how we wanted things done. He also spent a great deal of time and effort making sure things were water-tight and made to stand the test of time. We had originally intended to check up on his work every other day since we were living elsewhere during the project, but it became clear very early on that we didn’t need to check up at all. He sent us daily updates and was so detail-oriented that we weren’t worried at all about the quality of his work. The projects we asked him to complete were quite complicated and the finished work was done better than we could have imagined. To top it all off, Frank is extremely personable and quickly became someone we really enjoyed chatting with. Overall, we would never, ever hire anyone else to do tile for us and we have been singing his praises to anyone and everyone..

I watch several HGTV series religiously and have seen many Walk-in Showers that I’d only wish I could have….well, my wish came TRUE. The tile choices and installation Frank did in my small bathroom area, made it the biggest most gorgeous room in my house. He walked me through every step and guided me through the most beautiful choices of tile and patterns. Frank’s apprentice, Chris, was able to answer my questions and explain the process as well. Chris was always in a good mood and I trusted that my 2 cats and house would be safe and secure in my absence. Both Frank and Chris have a top notch work ethic and their craftsmanship is impeccable; the highest of standards all around. I would put Frank’s finished product up against any of the shows I watch. My family and friends are in AWE of my shower because it truly is a Masterpiece.

Where do I start? First of all, Frank is an extremely knowledgeable and personable guy. He’s great at bouncing ideas off of, and draws on his years of experience in providing great advice. He’s not afraid to tell you, “That’s not what I would recommend”. As a homeowner, we don’t always know what’s best, and it is very comforting to be able to draw on his experience and advice. He’s got a great eye!
Second, Frank has meticulous attention to detail and is a professional tradesman that calms my perfectionist nature. Watching him work through every detail of the job is refreshing. He treated our home as if it was his own. That’s the best compliment I could give to anyone doing work on our home. He’s always on time (rare, I know), communicates wonderfully, and is extremely clean. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
Lastly, his work is incredible! He installed two backsplashes and a beautiful Moroccan floor in our Laguna Beach bungalows. If anyone knows how wonky 1950’s homes can be, you will appreciate the patience and expertise required to complete these types of improvements.
Rarely do I recommend a contractor of any sorts, and I can’t remember ever penning a testimonial, but trust me – you won’t be disappointed!
